The various requests and video surveillance led the Macedonian police to suspect the murder of Krith

Crete Murder Case: Conflicting Accounts Emerge Regarding Strumula Leventaki’s Visit

The date of the last confirmed contact with Strumula Leventaki has become a key element in the investigation surrounding the murder of a 45-year-old woman on the island of Crete. Two distinct accounts have emerged, according to reports by Prototem, detailing the interactions between the suspect, 43-year-old Miskos L., and the victim. Initially, Miskos L.

informed investigators that Strumula had visited his residence on May 29th, carrying a purse and some jewelry. He stated he observed her arrival around 16:45, noting she remained for approximately two to three minutes during the encounter. However, subsequent investigation revealed a video recording placing Strumula at the property on May 30th, not the day prior as initially reported.

A second version of the narrative then surfaced. The suspect claimed the incident occurred on May 30th and described calling Strumula to deliver jewelry to her bedroom. This account contrasts with the earlier timeline.

The investigation is ongoing, with Greek authorities examining these two versions to determine the sequence of events surrounding the murder. The case involves a Macedonian national, Miskos L., who is currently being investigated in connection with the crime.
