Multiple Arrests Reported Across North Macedonia Following Vehicle Administration Violations
On June 23, 2026, at 16:54, law enforcement agencies across North Macedonia conducted a coordinated operation resulting in numerous arrests related to the administration of vehicles. A total of six individuals in Skopje, one minor, were detained for one day following violations. Similar actions were taken in Bitola, where one minor was also detained, and in Delčevo, Štip, Kumanovo, Negotin, and Makedonski Brod.
The operation targeted individuals operating vehicles without proper authorization. In several instances, individuals were found to be operating the vehicle without a licensed driver – specifically, one minor. Furthermore, two minors and one adult were apprehended under the influence of alcohol.
Decades of activity resulted in one arrest in Skopje and Veles for the administration of the vehicle. Police reported that the decision to conduct the operation encompassed the entire territory of the state. The operation involved the detention of individuals associated with the operation of various wagons and other vehicles.
Investigations are ongoing, and further details are expected to be released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
