Water Supply Disruption Expected in Skopje City Center
Skopje – A temporary water supply directive is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. today, June 20, 2026, due to repairs needed at the “Kresht Misirkov” and “Kej Dimitr Vlashov” bridges. The disruption will affect a significant portion of the city center.
The affected areas include: MANU, Gradanskiy soud, Mladinski kulturni centar, Universitetska biblioteka, Universitet Sv. “Kiril i Metodij”, the Mavrovka shopping center, sections of Turska charshiya (Turkish Bazaar), Savat Kulla, and streets “Petar Gjorgiev,” “Ottokar Kerzovan,” and “Advocate.”
The directive is necessary to address a water pipe leak. Authorities anticipate the repairs will take a considerable amount of time.
Residents and businesses within these areas should expect a temporary lack of water service. The information was announced at 8:10 a.m. and is being shared across social media platforms.
