Bitechultural Year Kicks Off with “Cao, Caao” at BiteFest
BiteFest, a comprehensive celebration of cultural expression, is set to launch tomorrow evening with 70 diverse events across multiple cities. The festival, part of the broader Bitechultural year, will feature a wide range of performances and presentations. The opening performance at the Bitechultural House on June 18th, 2026, will be the music “Cao, caao.” The event was announced by Dimitar Mihaylovski, Director of the Bitechultural Center.
He stated that the 18th edition of BiteFest will showcase 70 carefully selected cultural projects. A total of 140 applications were received for consideration. A music commission reviewed the submissions and ultimately chose 70 projects to represent the city’s cultural landscape.
The primary objective of the festival is to create a program that will engage a broad audience. The festival’s concluding performance will be a tribute concert honoring the group “Folton.” BiteFest promises a rich and varied program of events, offering a significant contribution to the Bitechultural year. —
