Ohrid Resident Arrested Following Weapons and Explosives Discovery

Officers from the Politski Police Station in Ohrid apprehended a resident, identified as D.A., yesterday following the execution of a court-issued warrant for his arrest. The arrest stemmed from suspicion of illegally carrying a variety of weapons and ammunition. A search of D.A.’s residence resulted in the discovery of several items, including a revolver, two pistols, three rocket bombs, and 22 bullets of varying calibers.

Additionally, two knives were found containing explosive materials. Authorities confirmed that these items were being carried illegally. “In accordance with the comprehensive documentation of the case, a criminal complaint will be filed against D.A.

for the unlawful production, smuggling, and trafficking of weapons or explosives,” the Ministry of Interior stated. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released as they become available. The seized materials are currently being processed as part of the official investigation.

D.A. is currently being held in custody.
