During the inspection, officers located a gold necklace, weighing 324.7 grams, which was determined to be of significant value.
The individual, identified as I.M., concealed the jewelry within the vehicle’s trunk, wrapping it in a black cloth and placing it beneath the seat. The Department of Investigation subsequently took over the case, and I.M. formally filed a criminal complaint with the Office for Juvenile Justice and Protection of Orphans (OJJPO).
The complaint pertains to the alleged offense of insulting a gold necklace, as outlined in the Criminal Code. The value of the recovered gold necklace is estimated at 1.5 million dinars. The State Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
