Mitsubishi is preparing a new electric model in its plans, called Eclipse Sportback. The name suggests a sports electric Eclipse, the new model is a compact electric vehicle and is based on the latest generation of Nissan Leaf. At first glance, the Russian Leaf is a real, but Mitsubishi made a few visual changes to give the Eclipse Sportback a sportier identity.
The front part has a different mask, a new bumper and the Mitsubishi’s recognizable Triple Diamond logo. The light-blue decal is similar to Nissan, but with different details. There are changes on the rear part as well.
Instead of the bright Ni-San motif from Leaf, Eclipse Sportback gets two light-blue units, similar to the motif from the front part. There is a big Mitsubishi decal on the trunk and the rear is redesigned.
