Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina Recognized with Initial World Championship Awards
Toronto, Canada – The selectors for Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented with honorary awards following the conclusion of the first round of the World Championship group B competition. The event, hosted in Toronto, recognized the teams’ performances. Canada, playing at home, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, returning to the international stage, both secured these initial accolades.
The team selectors finalized their rosters after final training sessions and tactical preparations, selecting their most prepared players for the match. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s head coach, Sergej Barbarez, faced some late-game adjustments. While he initially named an eleven, Decim Kerim Alijabevic was ultimately included in the final squad.
Barbarez’s starting lineup for the first round consists of Vasilj, Mucharomic, Kolasinac, Dedic, Katic, and Tadić. The recognition marks an important step for both teams as they continue their participation in the world championship.
