The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal (ICC), Karim Khan, has been suspended from his position due to suspicions of sexual assault, according to the Presidency of the member states of the Hague Tribunal. For his permission to resume his function, the member states must necessarily withdraw from the session. The session must be held so that it is possible to find out what is possible.
Khan has been taking his position in the peace-keeping forces for more than a year and has stated what he believes should be done when the accused are to be discharged. He has dismissed the accusations. In the year 2024, a British lawyer accused the chief prosecutor of sexual assault.
It is said that he persecuted and in a long period of time forced the accused to engage in sexual acts. The United Nations Commission has been investigating the accusations.
