State Exam Begins with 14,587 Students Registered
The annual state exam for secondary education has commenced, with a total of 14,587 students registered to take the assessment for the 2025/2026 academic year. The state examinations serve as a critical requirement for prospective students seeking admission to higher education faculties or for those pursuing vocational training and graduation from the labor market. The examinations are administered at the students’ respective schools, utilizing amphitheaters within the faculties closest to the examination sites.
This year, a visit was conducted by Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Dr. Vesna Jankovska, and the Director of the State Examination Center, Daniela Mikhajlovska.
The pair observed the proceedings at the Economics Faculty in Skopje, where students from the SGS Vasil Antonevski-Dren program were participating. Minister Jankovska engaged with individual students, documenting their progress and outlining the timeline for the implementation of the new state exam concept, reflecting ongoing adjustments to the national educational framework. The focus remains on ensuring a standardized and reliable assessment process within the broader system of education.
