Skopje Hosts Event Promoting Family Equality in Macedonian Sports
Skopje, North Macedonia – The “Samiot for the family equality in sports” event took place in Skopje, focusing on the implementation of the draft “Fer igra: Support for family equality in sports policies.” The event showcased the results of a European Union-funded project designed to advance family equality within Macedonian sports. Organized by the Macedonian Olympic Committee (MOC) in collaboration with the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCC), “Sport Social Solutions,” and the Paralympic Committee of Macedonia, the presentation outlined the project’s outcomes. A total of 15 national sports federations were awarded sub-grants of €6,700 each.
These funds were specifically allocated to support the development and piloting of sports plans centered around family equality.
