MEP Highlights ‘Patkaze’ as Key to State Reform

Brussels – The “patkaze” initiative was officially recognized by a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) as a central element driving the state’s reform course and the ongoing work of the Ministry of Justice (MJ) on June 4, 2026, at 19:38. Ministry of Justice President Antonio Costa lauded the recognition as a significant achievement. The MEP’s statement emphasized the “patkaze” – referring to the initiative’s focus on the possession of rights and the reform of public administration – as a concrete and tangible outcome of the Ministry’s dedication.

According to Costa, the strategic documents underpinning this initiative form the basis for constructing a more effective institution. “We are particularly proud that the European Union has recognized the ‘patkaze’ for the possession of the right and the reform of the public administration,” Costa stated. “These strategic documents represent the foundation for building a more effective institution, the ability to possess the right and the growing confidence of citizens in the legal system.”

The Ministry of Justice continues to build upon previously established efforts and results within the broader reform process.

The focus remains on strengthening institutional effectiveness and bolstering public trust in legal proceedings.
