Skopje – Prime Minister Hristo Miskoiski held an unscheduled meeting with Antonio Costa, President of the European Council, during a visit to countries within the Western Balkans. The meeting took place as part of Costa’s tour, following his arrival in Skopje from Tirana. Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Tihomir Muzunski, greeted Costa upon his arrival at the airport.

The discussion centered on outlining the next steps for cooperation between the Macedonian government and the delegation led by Costa. The primary focus of the meeting with Vladeta, the President of the European Council, was to solidify plans moving forward. Following the meeting with Costa, discussions are expected to address ongoing integration processes with the European Union.

Separately, the Financial Police has concluded its review of reported incidents involving Pellegrini and Davkov, concerning trespasses on property, commercial spaces, and individuals. This review is part of the broader assessment related to the country’s progress toward EU integration. The meeting underscores the continued commitment of both sides to advancing the country’s alignment with European standards.
