Miskovski Re-elected as President of the SDSP
Goran Miskovski was re-elected as president of the Social Democratic Party of Macedonia (SDSP) at the party’s seventh congress held yesterday. The election was officially announced at 17:53 on June 1, 2026. The congress also saw the election of the party’s Central Committee, comprised of 70 members, and the Supervisory Committee, with nine members, according to information released by the SDSP.
Delegates reviewed and approved the SDSP’s strategic plan for the 2022-2026 period. Key documents adopted during the congress included the Declaration for the Protection of Labor, a Declaration aimed at reducing overtime work and addressing uncertain working conditions, and the SDSP’s Ethical Code. “The SDSP has adopted the Declaration for the protection of labor,” the party stated.
Goran Miskovski will continue to lead the SDSP through the 2026-2030 period, overseeing the implementation of these newly adopted policies and organizational structures.
