Iran has closed a key waterway, responsible for transporting 20 percent of global oil, while simultaneously intensifying attacks on vessels in the region. Reuters reported, citing US officials, that Iran has mined the Strait of Hormuz with dozens of sea mines, showcasing numerous patrol boats launching drones from underground tunnels filled with naval drones, anti-ship missiles, and sea mines. Iran published footage detailing this extensive network.

The country has threatened to escalate oil prices to $200 per barrel, asserting possession of underwater missiles – a capability reportedly shared only by Tehran and Russia. A high-ranking general from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Fadavi, warned that these missiles could be fired underwater at speeds of 100 meters per second. Furthermore, the speaker of parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, declared that the Persian Gulf would run with “the blood of aggressors” if the United States and Israel continued their attacks.

He stated that any aggression against Iranian islands would disregard all limitations, leading to the bloodshed of attackers in the Persian Gulf. Recent developments in Poland, where initial traces of a cyberattack were detected against a nuclear center, suggest a potential connection to Iran.

  1. Iran has released a video revealing a tunnel, indicating imminent deployment of powerful weaponry. The nation has also shut down a vital waterway, accounting for 20 percent of worldwide oil shipments.
