The Veles hospital faced a criminal appeal following an incident involving stolen banknotes. The Special Rapid Service of Veles initiated the legal action against Ѓ.Д. (41) and D.A.
(37), both residents of Veles, due to suspicions of “theft and unauthorized computer system access” and “theft and unauthorized access to systems within the hospital environment.”
The appeal was formally filed on March 12, 2026, at 15:50. Specifically, the investigation stemmed from the witnesses’ acquisition of illicit currency. On October 1, 2020, they obtained 23,000 dinars in stolen banknotes within the Veles hospital.
This situation triggered a serious concern regarding security protocols. The police’s subsequent actions involved the identification of a victim connected to this event. Related news reports highlighted other incidents, including violence involving minors in Skopje and the recovery of a World War I grenade in Bitola by law enforcement.
These events occurred on March 12, 2026, alongside the initial appeal concerning the Veles hospital.
