The national team will issue a call to a newcomer for the March 2026 Macedonian Football Federation World Championship qualifying round, with the initial match scheduled against Denmark. The announcement was made on March 12, 2026, at 18:16. Goce Sedloski oversaw the first selection of players for this first round.
Sedloski will include at least two players from Skënderaj, a club that has been widely publicized on social media. The champion of the First Macedonian Professional League announced that, in addition to the call for Rešat Ramadani, who has two additional nominations for Macedonia, Sedloski will also select defensive player Imran Fetai. Fetai, a 23-year-old player previously representing Macedonia in youth categories, will now receive his first senior call to the national team.
Macedonia’s first game will be against Denmark on March 26th.
