Effective August 1st, consumers will see adjustments to their heating expenditures, according to the Regulatory Energy Commission. The commission has implemented a reduction to the minimum heating bill structure. For instance, the projected heating bill for a standard household with a roof is estimated at approximately 140 dinars, based on calculations for a 60 square meter area.
While heating rates are being adjusted, the commission also announced changes to fuel pricing. Specifically, the price of gasoline has increased by three dinars per liter, and diesel has seen an increase of 4.54 dinars per liter. Regarding the heating component, specific rates have been subject to a cut for residents in Skopje starting in August.
The rates vary depending on the supplier. Customers serviced by EUSM Supply face a rate of 5.96%. Those connected to EUSM Energetika, often referred to as the iron heating service, will see a rate of 5.18%.
Furthermore, the rate for Energy Ecolog in Skopje North has been set at 3.65%. These adjustments represent the new structure for the heating bill moving into the new month. The commission has detailed these changes, ensuring that consumers are aware of the revised costs associated with their heating services beginning this August.
