The government announced 30-day strike in Gostivar

The municipality has declared a 30-day state of crisis in the town of Gostivar. According to the municipality’s official statement, this measure was implemented because the local administration was reportedly unable to manage the current situation effectively. The resolution aims to coordinate various institutions and prioritize the restoration of the water supply system to ensure the prompt provision of drinking water throughout the area.

The declaration of this state of crisis signals a heightened level of governmental intervention intended to stabilize essential services within Gostivar. As part of the coordinated response, several high-ranking officials are scheduled to visit the JZU Opšta bolnica “Ferid Mu.” These officials include the Minister for Livestock and Rural Development, Muathed Hoca; the Minister for Internal Affairs, Panche Toshkovski; and the Minister for Health, Sašo Klekovski. Additionally, the Director of the SOR Ivic Tomovski and the Port Parolka of the municipality will participate in the visits.

The move underscores the seriousness of the current operational challenges faced by the municipality. By bringing in multiple ministerial and local director-level personnel, authorities seek to streamline efforts, ensure institutional cooperation, and address the critical infrastructure needs of the community during this designated period of crisis management.
