All settlements from Struga, Debrce and Ohrid obtain a ferry connection to Ohrid-Kičevo

The Ministry of Transport has completed the reconstruction of the local road connecting Meshech to Voliino within the Debrecen municipality. This project is part of a broader initiative aimed at improving the network of local infrastructure. During a working visit to the area, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, announced that the effort encompasses several key settlements along the Ohrid-Kicevo road.

According to Minister Nikoloski, the ministry has been actively working to design and build a total of 18 kilometers of previously unplanned local roads. This significant undertaking is designed to enhance connectivity across the region’s various settlements. The successful completion of the Meshech-Voliino road and improvements within the village of Voliino represent key milestones in this infrastructure development.

The project, which is being realized with the support of the Ministry of Transport, underscores the commitment to improving rural access. The enhanced local road network is expected to provide substantial benefits to the residents of these communities. The initiative focuses on integrating these previously underserved areas into a more cohesive transportation system, thereby boosting local economic activity and improving the quality of life for inhabitants across the corridor.

The completion marks a significant step in modernizing the local road infrastructure serving the settlements near the Ohrid route.
