MAXIM OD ORHID: Macedonia needs to have control over the law and order

Maxim Dimitrievski, the leader of the Movement ZNAM – For Our Macedonia, addressed the importance of the state’s foundational structures, asserting that the populace is cognizant of the established legal framework. According to Dimitrievski, citizens are aware of the existing system of rights, the principle of equal treatment before the law, and the necessity of maintaining order and discipline within the state. He stated that the responsibility for sustaining such a robust system rests entirely upon the diligent and dedicated work of the nation’s institutions.

Speaking during an event themed “European ZNAM, European Identity, European Macedonia,” Dimitrievski emphasized that the adherence to these principles is paramount for the future of Macedonia. He reiterated, “The citizens are aware of the system of rights, equal treatment before the law, order and discipline. And, of course, we can put that order in place.”

The discourse also touched upon the political context, where Dimitrievski acknowledged the efforts of the coalition partners.

He noted that these partners had taken responsibility in an exceptional manner two years prior, specifically referencing the foundational work initiated by the Vlada (Government). The address implicitly reinforced a guiding maxim of national unity and European integration, suggesting that institutional commitment is the primary mechanism for realizing these national goals.
