The Central Command of SAD aims to “degrade Iranian military capabilities,” Iranian state media reported that the SAD attacked civilian infrastructure, including bridges, railway stations and airports. BBC confirmed the attack on one bridge west of Bandar Abbas on the Hormozgan border. American missiles also targeted nuclear facilities on the island of Kish, near Bandar Abbas and Bushehr – where there is a nuclear power plant.
The SAD command did not mention bridges in its list of “decades of Iranian military targets” in the last round of attacks, which ended in the early morning hours. The US President Donald Trump has vowed to attack Iran’s bridges and electricity as long as the country does not open up to talks.
