CHILDREN ARE THE WEAPONS OF THE MAFIA – The resurgence began on Instagram and TikTok

A young man, identified as a 13-year-old from Gothenburg, Sweden, was reportedly involved in an incident where he provided a link from YouTube for a sum of $19,000. This link was used to compromise the account of Elbit Systems, an Israeli-owned company, according to information shared by a user on the encrypted messaging application Signal. The exchange was described as involving instructions to “put on your armor” and proceed to a specific location, drawing parallels to military actions.

Authorities have linked the attack to a Swedish drug gang with alleged ties to Iran. The teenager was subsequently arrested. However, the details surrounding the case highlighted that the minimum age for the alleged criminal offense was 15 years.

This incident points to a growing and concerning global trend: criminal syndicates are reportedly recruiting minors to commit serious offenses, often by exploiting gaps in existing legal frameworks. The involvement of children in such activities raises significant concerns regarding the exploitation of minors by organized crime. The nature of the alleged activities, which could involve anything from digital espionage to the transfer of illicit materials, suggests a sophisticated level of criminal coordination.

The connection between these groups and the potential trafficking of weapons underscores the severity of the threat posed by these transnational mafia operations.
