The Detroit Jewish Federation confirmed awareness of the security incident and stated that Jewish institutions in the area had implemented a temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure. Numerous police and emergency vehicles from multiple cities within Oakland County responded to the scene, including the state police and police departments of West Bloomfield, Farmington Hills, Clinton, Orton Hills, Birmingham, and Pleasant Ridge. Oakland County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Steven Huber, stated that police are currently searching the building but provided no further details.
