The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that the Talegan complex had been struck during recent air operations. These attacks were conducted by the Israeli Air Force over several days. Israel claims AMAD is Iran’s secret nuclear weapons development program. The IDF stated that the Talegan complex was previously targeted in an Israeli attack in October 2024, following an Iranian missile strike that month. Recent intelligence indicated that Iran had begun to restore the complex after these attacks.
“The Iranian regime continues its efforts to enhance and develop the capabilities needed to produce nuclear weapons,” the IDF reported. This latest strike is part of a broader series of operations, according to the Israeli military, aimed at further weakening Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The IDF emphasized the ongoing threat posed by Iran’s clandestine projects, including the AMAD program.
